The “Overgrown Dining Room” was a special piece for me as it was a request. Even though it was a request from a good friend its nice to received compliment about my art style and they wish for me to draw something unique for them to hang on the wall. For this particular drawing I thought about what would make it special for the recipient so I chose to use the setting of her favourite restaurant when she travelled to Bali.
